Screenwriting

Passionate about literature and story writing since my teenage years, I now devote my pen to the screen. Short films, feature films, series, video games and documentaries. I seek to craft my stories through a variety of facets.

Although my favorite genres are horror, comedy and drama, I like to diversify and develop my versatility by venturing into thrillers, romantic comedies and many others. Subverting the codes of cinema through absurdity, perverting everyday places and objects, defying the laws of logic, delving dep into their psychology, confronting characters with improbable, tedious or even extraordinary situations, all these themes can give a foretaste of my narrative ambitions.

Aware that I write primarily for cinema, I always project my texts on screen by adopting the famous quote from Fred R. Barnard : "a picture is worth a thousand words." Regarding my writing style, I opt for a relatively sober, mature and subtle tone, natural and spoken dialogues as well as a sense of detail and staging, for a striking result on the big screen. In addition, being fascinated by the spectator's perception, I like to leave a certain freedom of interpretation to the latter, in order to integrate it indirectly into the framework of the story.

In short, I seek to develop an original, polished, gripping story with a certain personality, while exploring and adapting to the imposed themes.
